Glitter versus Goth: Maine Roller Derby’s Wicked versus Good Bout
Portland, Maine – September 26, 2024 – Maine Roller Derby’s Wicked versus Good bout is just in time for spooky season. The theme this year? Glitter versus Goth. After a close season opener, the Ship Wreckers ultimately walked away with the win. This October, who will emerge victorious: the gloomy Ship Wreckers or the sparkling R.I.P. Tides?
“We’ve been practicing hard every week. Even though the RIP Tides are our rivals, we train together and are great friends,” said Ship Wreckers captain Chopped Liver. “Wicked vs. Good is one of my favorite bouts of the year. We go all out with the theme and have a ton of fun dressing up.”
In addition to the roller derby action, this event will offer a family-friendly atmosphere with food and beverage options, merchandise, and opportunities to meet the athletes. Attendees are encouraged to bring their friends and families to enjoy an evening of excitement and entertainment. Don’t miss your chance to witness the action-packed Wicked versus Good bout and support your local roller derby athletes.
