Portland, Maine – April 7, 2025 – On Saturday, April 19, at Happy Wheels in Westbrook, Maine Roller Derby’s Travel Team takes on an amalgamation team of our friends from surrounding leagues including Casco Bay Roller Derby, Bay State Brawlers, Androscoggin Fallen Angels, Rock Coast Roller Derby, Aroostook Roller Derby, Hartford Roller Derby, Boston Roller Derby, Monadnock Roller Derby, and some familiar faces from Maine Roller Derby.
“This game allows skaters to play with and against others they may have never shared a track with before,” said Cutter, one of the Travel Team Captains. “It is a fun opportunity to meet new people, make connections, and do something hard that leaves you feeling accomplished.”
In addition to the roller derby action, this event will offer a family-friendly atmosphere with food and beverage options, merchandise, and opportunities to meet the athletes. Attendees are encouraged to bring their friends and families to enjoy an evening of excitement and entertainment.
