Wicked 113, Good 73
The second annual WICKED VS GOOD intra-league bout occurred at the Portland Expo on Saturday, October 10, 2009. Final score: Wicked 113, Good 73.
Wicked versus Good is the one opportunity you have to see all your favorite players on the track in a single bout. Because all your favorite players train together, they know each other’s styles, strengths and weaknesses, which makes for a very competitive bout.
The MRD roster is small this season (but soon to change with our heavy recruiting!), so the girls invited New Hampshire Roller Derby and Providence Roller Derby to join the roster. These players were a bit of a wild card seeing that none of MRD skaters had played with them recently, but team captains (Dump Truck, Breezey, Trouble & Strife and Fist City Kitty) did their best dividing up skaters into equal teams.
