Thanks for supporting Thanks-for-Giving 2019!

Maine Roller Derby held the 2019 Thanks-for-Giving bout on Saturday, November 9, and with the help of generous fans, raised $596 to support the work of Maine-Wabanaki REACH!

This year, the Thanks-for-Giving bout featured Team Teal and Team Red with mixed rosters comprised of home team and travel team skaters. The Thanks-for-Giving bout is a favorite MRD event among both skaters and fans alike. This special event allows fans to buy tickets which can be exchanged for special actions: including adding points to a team’s score, sending a play to the penalty box, group hugs or dance parties, or a jam played in the opposite direction!

Maine Roller Derby owes tremendous thanks to all who came out to enjoy the game and support a great cause!
