“Pump up the Jammer” featured at SALT Opening

“Pump up the Jammer” by SALT Institute for Documentary Studies student Sarah Danson, is “a six minute sonic glimpse into the fast moving, occasionally painful, bad ass world of women’s roller derby.” SALT’s spring students’ opening reception, which will include a presentation of this radio piece, is Thursday, May 21st 5 – 8 pm at the SALT Gallery, 561 Congress St., Portland.

Also featured will be photographs to accompany the radio piece by Keith Lane.
