MRD Spins the Wheel of Destiny at The Great Lost Bear

On Thursday, January 8th, 2015, the members of Maine Roller Derby gathered at the Great Lost Bear restaurant to take part in the GLB’s epic event: The Wheel of Destiny!

The Wheel of Destiny is an epic event that celebrates local Maine beer. Every 30 minutes for the evening a skater from Maine Roller Derby spun the gigantic wheel, shouting out the number that it lands on. Each number corresponds with a Maine brew that was on top at the ‘Bear. Where the wheel stops determines which brew is on special for just $2.99!

We had blast skating around the venue and supporting the Great Lost Bear. After the skates came off, and some skaters returned from practice, we enjoyed some of the delicious food the Bear serves up! Maine Roller Derby <3’s the GLB!
