2019 MRD Travel Team
On January 16, 2019 Maine Roller Derby held try-outs for travel team skaters. Maine Roller Derby’s top skaters make up the Maine Roller Derby Travel Team. These players form two squads: The Port Authorities, our WFTDA-ranked charter team; and the Old Port Brigade, our B-level interleague team.
Fifteen of these skaters — including skaters new to the MRD Travel Team — will be skating as the Old Port Brigade against Connecticut Roller Derby’s Cutthroats at the Lucky Lass Throwdown on March 16 at Happy Wheels. Be sure not to miss it!
