I’m a huge Tina Fey fan, and her Liz Lemon is her character on the TV show 30 Rock. I just lady-gayed it up a little. I’ll save badass for the track.

What is your athletic background?
I played women’s hockey for about 10 years. 10 long, painful years of penalties for hitting too hard, playing too rough, making girls cry. Now I get to do that on the regular.

Why roller derby?
Roller derby is an incredibly difficult sport, and I love a challenge. These women train hard, hit hard, and compete with a passion I’ve never experienced before. It’s amazing to witness, and even more amazing to be a part of.
